Losing Grip

Losing Grip

A Poem by Jaja Reigns

We're over, are we?
It's for your sake, trust me
That's my fault, blame me
Let's move forward, shall we?

you moved on, do you?
You smile often, you're happy
Talking to her, it hurts deeply
She seems nice, is she?

remove me from your life, can you?
Replace me, that's nice
Back to strangers again, time flies
You okay with that? hope not

Do you like her? I understand it
You're tired of waiting, I get it
You find happiness with her, it's alright
But let's remain friends, can we?

Liked the brevity and straightforward delivery of this one. It sounds as though the speaker hasn't been able to let go, wants to stay friends. Hope it doesn't turn to bitterness.
