Lost

Lost

A Poem by That girl
"

Just an emotional poem about hoping I don’t list him

"
I can’t imagine the feeling, the feeling people feel when they lose their one love. The heart break, the sadness, and the fear.
The fear they may never love another again, the fear they will never fine a "you" in anyone else.

I day dream sometimes, well most times about the fear love brings. What it must be like to lose the only person you've ever truly loved.
Pain rushs threw my body and chills run over my heart, I feel a tear rush down my cheek. I get flustered and unable to speak. A lump in my throat and Unable to breathe.

I finally snap back to reality, feeling relieved, relief I have you and your love, knowing in my heart I have found my soul mate. Fearing in my heart, the day your love becomes my most feared Day dream...lost.

I’m not sure really how to set poems up. Like I don’t know the actual writing rules on these types of things. So ignore that

No worries about poetic form, especially if you tell us in your authors note as you've done. Your writing is naturally poetic, to me, becuz you use a shorthand way of mostly showing instead of using longer passages that describe a situation. The only thing you seem to be unsure of is where to make line breaks. Just play around with that & don't worry about having some definite purpose! The strongest part of your poem is where you describe the physical sensations of panic, at the thought of possibly losing one's only love. This is strong imagery, as we can imagine how it might feel. I once had a dog (Barley) I loved so much, I was constantly afraid something might happen to her! (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie
