wait for me till

wait for me till

A Poem by Nothing Personal

catch you when I have time to catch my breath
Sense of purpose is like cats chasing a mouse in full stomach
They don't chase to feed
They chase to live

I'll have plenty to say if I get time to say
Will you wait for me with a drink in hand
For that one night in two years
when I lose myself into you and oblivion.

I am in the process of rebuilding
finding myself from the ruins
refining my sense of life
my goal of existence

Wait for me
till i find my way
through sleepless nights
heated metal strips
and thousands of buoyant words
bouncing against each other
waiting to equilibrate into shiny green liquids
clear and homogeneous.

I am sure to solve Newtonian physics
and Hamiltonian chemistry
and Lagrangian mathematics
by then
Then we could settle the humanoid chemistry and
earth and dirt that waits to rise and mix and swell
into unchained storms
when you and me meet
when our worlds collide
after enduring
after enduring so long

The undying hope and the eternal wait, till the end of time and back. Hope is the recurring motif here and you put it forth wonderfully. The Newtonian physics, Hamiltonian chemistry and lagrangian mathematics have that tinge of sarcasm and bitter humour and say about the forces that cleave and pull destinies apart. Beautiful and heartfelt, NP.

quite an unique observation... it starts out with an intellectual pondering and ends up beautifully sentimental. Very nice.

You can tell a story in your words. I like the statement and emotion of this poem. The story had a good flow and a very good ending. A outstanding poem. Thank you.
