the other womanA Poem by Nothing Personalnone
Silent walks along the deserted wood
a cigarette in hand blowing it away in puffs merry thinking of you the moon beams back at me. I am far away from noises, from uncared children that you bore with me but their faces are changing and they do not resemble yours anymore but of the doe faced Bill next door. Why do I think of the first kiss we had when the wind blows away my hair and tells me of your faithlessness It seems forgiving you couldn't be tough to yourself because of desires that we both had women you slept with; before you met me and parted the whiff of hair falling over my face. The coffee gets cold, either I tend to forget or the heater's not working. The house sinks below the mud two inches every other day I make the bed every night with utmost dedication I have bought aromatic candles which lit up the room The window overlooks the forest, and on moon days like this reminds me of you. © Nothing Personal.
