A Poem by Nothing Personal
"

surreal escapades when reality becomes hazy

"
Disappearing lakes engulfing disenchanted thoughts
The lack of coherence embedded in sand
Windshield moist with raindrops on forgotten mornings
I have not come to accept it, not yet.

A town full of blind people,
Colors taking a walk into dark alleys
Undeveloped photos fading in silver
The road in front is not visible, at all.

I like these words. Each line could take you to a different place. This is my favorite kind of poetry. Allow the reader to think and try to see what the writer is saying in their words. Many vision of people and life are hidden in the word. A excellent poem. Thank you.

i will be honest the fist time I read it it left me confused, but it made me go back and reread the poem, I think that is when the poem speaks to you the most, do think it could flow better, bu the choice of words takes you to another place great short read :)

Whoa! That was fantastic. Definitely something that speaks to reader depending on their own state of mind. Both powerful stanzas all on their own. You could probably separate and make two new poems from them. Really great stuff.

mmm essence of evanescence :) "the lack of coherence embedded in sand". and the two lines concluding the two stanzas
"i have not come to accept it, not yet"
and
"the road in front is not visible, at all"
asking for a different path to follow...
excellent!
