shadows

so to speak

I have loved this sitting by gray windows, lonesome
I have taken this journey forgetfully, peeking
I have painted and thrown away, in perishable waters
What lies beneath
What looms above
are disconcerting shadows

Reminds me of one of my own poems 'One warm touch'. I always enjoy poems that give a kind of 'Out for lunch' feeling. If there is something, it'll be the heavy language. I think a simpler language will make it all the more comforting and feel-good. Keep writing.
