breaking the berlin wallA Poem by Nothing Personalshattering, snowy thoughts
A glowering light amidst a sea of snow
Two lonely trees stand tall, bare And few footmarks brush and drag along the snow towards the light The night sky color, eerie blue. A barricade of walls made up of bamboo sticks Enough to hold you Enough to hold me on this side Not the same side as you The sky, still eerie blue. You open your arms like a foolish bird You haven't taken the lessons to fly, properly Crisscrossing footmarks all over the snow Newly created roads which will melt as the snow thaws. You stand where a lake used to stand And thousands of lovers used to come To find and discover their comfy spot A spot to see the lake Immersed in lips and dry sea air An unique vision, unique to them Each of them, only. The scene may repeat itself as you will be multiplied by two. Two pairs will stand tall. I have to remind you in my mind's allegorical letters That it isn't the moon or the Mt.Everest where you stand. It is but where the lake was and will be again when the snow thaws. You smile with the menu in hand Your reflection for the day smiles back too The green emerald in her neck glows, Only for me to notice. But smiles soon change The eating ensues Fried rice with orange chicken and stir fried prawns. (to be continued) © Nothing Personal. February 13, 2011. © 2011 Nothing PersonalAuthor's Note
