On a day like todayA Poem by Nothing Personal
On a day like today,
When you want the most but you simply can't, You should at least write about it. On a day like today, When she looks the best but cant be touched , You should at least think about the first kiss. On a day like today When you write a song but the lines don't flow from your pen, You should at least sing the last one you wrote. No darn no, This is not on hope or on those in which the downers dwell, But simply on what you could do when you cant. On a day like today, Don't break the rules but let them break away, You may atleast know what those were. On a day like today, Do what you can as long as you can, As times change and your mind, Shine through the night and the late October rain. On a day like today, Eat pasta, sleep tight and dont call your mom. Through the dark alleys and the blind lanes, Comes out the road that makes you your destiny's cockswain. © Nothing Personal October 26, 2010 © 2011 Nothing PersonalReviews
