I am

A poem about me and how I feel.

I am faithful and truthful like a mate of wolves

I wonder if he’ll rescue me

I hear the rivers rushing, splashing, and dish-dashing

I see dreams before my eyes

I want someone to care for me, cuddle me with love when in need

I am faithful and truthful like a mate of wolves

I pretend that he’s not around  

I feel the blush coming on

I touch his hand while passing by

I worry that he doesn't feel my love

I cry when people think I could do better

I am faithful and truthful like a mate of wolves

I understand that he is right for me

I say “I love you” quietly

I dream to see him every day

I try to do the best I can

I hope he understands, I’ll be here for him

I am faithful and truthful like a mate of wolves
