Stuck

Stuck

A Poem by NotSoAnonymous

Im bored
I need to find whats unexplored
Im trapped
Not under attack
Under duress
Searching for success
Hearing some distant footsteps
Tap closer
Huddled close for closure
Lower, lower, slower, and slower
I lose the grip on my composure

I also know what it is I'm missing
A beautiful girl i should be kissing
I forget that the clock is ticking
What else?
Oh i find myself at a crucial junction
And I dont know my function
I should fight this battle
But the solution is travel

A gain in perspective
Experience something festive
Maybe something inexpensive
That moves me to the height of extensive
Changes
Molecules rea-rrange us
I think im already pretty gracious
I should be tougher and face more dangers

Im pulled down this bubbling stew
Down to the bottom
With the miserable few
Where the rubbish has been thrown to grow rotten
To get out i start to chew
It seems to me i have no other option
Before i get stuffed into a coffin

So lets say i escape and breath the fresh air of the earth?
And things are no longer blurred
Use the things that i have learned
Some things are reserved
Others preserved
Me? I'll just get whats deserved
