Deaf EarsA Poem by Chaos ComplexEx blames me for everything. Hah.Oh- it's my fault? Sorry for trying to care, Even though I put up with you- I was so close to ripping out my hair, And hanging myself with the tied strands. Now when you b***h, I just drift off to la-la land. I loved you. That's a past tense, Now I want nothing to do with your presence. Yeah, call me a liar. But I wasn't the one who decided to give up, Crumpling it all like an empty can of crush. That was you, chick. Check the dialogue. I wanted a break, You broke away and took the clock. I know I did my share of f*****g up- Label me whatever, But I refuse to stay stuck. Under a hateful stamp. I wouldn't call you a tramp, Cause the truth of the matter is, this was a bad romance. You used to go GaGa. Now you're boo-hoo'ing. I've already found another chick worth pursuing. But trust me when I say, I wanna wipe those tears away. But with that poison in your speech, I'm keeping out of reach. You went from beauty, Straight to a beast. And you're a fool for allowing this transformation. You ruined us- So I'm not hearing your false reiterations. What a bunch of wasted years... It's falling on deaf ears. F**k it. © 2011 Chaos Complex |
