IT'S A TRAP?!

Dun dun dun.

We've traveled down this path before-

The same ocean and damp sand shore.

We've held hands this tightly,

While we worked the flattery.

You got me wishing I could stop myself-

Before I let old wounds bleed.

But you got me saying-

"I missed this."

Loneliness is a disgusting disease.

You suggest: "We should work it out..."

I feel my stomach knot in doubts-

Or could that be butterflies from staring at your mouth...?

Luscious lips that always make me trip-

Is it a surprise that my guard just slipped?

Closer in-

Got me shaking so vulnerable-

But last thing I need is to be so damn gullible!

I'm being held a captive,

And I'm feeling quite frantic.

Is that romance or panic?

Emotions are just too hard to manage.

After all the damage you'd think that I would have moved to another planet.

But here I am, and there you are-

With eyes that lock on me like the stars-

I think my logic just left me abandoned.

The space in between us is a cannon,

The pressure builds to explosive as we close the gap-

Have I fallen into another trap?

If so, I'm zapped- what a laugh.

I can only hope that we won't react the crash.
