Devil on my Shoulder

Devil on my Shoulder

A Story by Chaos Complex

Release it.
The inner demon in you.
The lustful soul which begs to have what you shouldn't crave.
Who says you can't have it?
Grab it with bloody palms,
And squeeze it,
Like the neck of a lover who pissed you off.

What's wrong with being selfish?
What's wrong with a little abuse?
In a world where people use others,
Is it so wrong to do a little using yourself?
Come on, baby!
It's the norm, now!
They say, "Don't sink down to their level!"
But who's really the bad guy?
It's not very satisfying when you do the right thing-
And not gain anything from it, is it?

Do you feel like an idiot for not voicing out,
That you want a little respect around this dump?
You've lived for years by their rules,
And you've tried to play nice.

But nice only takes you so far...
Not far enough.
Want to push some limits-
And maybe some buttons too?

Why not?

You've earned it, kid.

Now, show these people what stays caged in your head!

...

Or are you going to restrain what you're really capable of,
Until it turns completely rotten
And becomes something that can't be suppressed?

About
I like to express my emotions and feelings in poetry. I write a lot of rap/hip hop stuff. I'm really vulgar. Deal with it. I don't get many reviews, but thank you to those who even bother to re.. more..
