Chemicals- and ours were reacting.
Somehow, even when we felt broken,
We made a whole out of the fractions.
But I can't always get caught relaxing.

Gotta keep my bolts on tight,
Or else...
I might end up falling in love,
And that would be bad, right?

You almost trapped me last night,
I almost gave you my heart on a silver platter,
After seeing you smile that bright.

You had me murmuring affections in your ear,
While your eyes entranced me and pulled me more near.
And although I felt fear,
I felt warmth.

I felt like we could work-
What the HELL was I thinking,
This was just a flirt... (You sure?)

This was just another moment of passion FIN,
That would consume us and turn us to ash.
Blow the candle out before we're gone with the wind...

But you made it all feel like bliss,
The way our fingers fit like shapes of Tetris.
But miss...

I should advise you that this might hurt.
Maybe me more than you, so the brakes gotta go [SKRRRRTTTT].
Before my hands find their way underneath your skirt,
And we do things without measuring the consequences worth.

I can't fall in love with you yet-
I got to let it grow.
Otherwise, I'll make similar mistakes to what I did before...
And I believe you deserve so much more,
But until then, my heart can't be yours.

Hi Ren, love this poem and it is true , take it slow.. but as you have this written it would be so easy to let go .. some beautiful verses I like this one ..
