The earth wakes up

A white raven

perches on a 

black fence

and the eyeless flowers

stretch out toward

the sun

they listen to the

earth

rumbling 

awake

I like thie idea of the white raven.
not a black raven on a white fence.
The raven is good here and the fence is flawed.
"eyeless flowers/ stretch out toward/ the sun"

Blind people reach out just as those who can see well....they know there is something to reach for, they can feel there is.
The earth wakes up...why won't people....
we are acting eyeless, voiceless....powerless...
but if we have our own awakening, perhaps there can be strong change.
Love can be the white raven, much like the white dove.
The black fence to me represents our politicians who won't get off the fence and get things done to help the country.
there needs to be a rumble, an awakening.
just like in the movie "Awakenings"---
this piece suggests so much with so few words.

The flowers must listen to the earth, because it is the latter which gives it its nourishment….the day awakens with the raven’s call….your images are clear and lovely…many early morning happenings……
