Sometimes

random thought passage

Sometimes I like to watch tv

And think I’m one of the characters

Sometimes I like to watch a movie

And think I’m part of the scene

Sometimes I just watch my toes

Wonder why they’re not my nose

Close my eyes and be obscene.

 

 

Sometimes I enjoy the night

Twinkle twinkle little moon

Sometimes I enjoy a fright

From the man under my bed at night

Sometimes I enjoy the day

How bright the sun at noon

 

 

Sometimes I want to be a bird

And break out off this world

Or find that new endearing word

To describe what I am

Sometimes I just like to like

Sometimes…

Random but fun in the whimsical quality of it. The poem flowed beautifully, and the thoughts themselves just spoke of how awesome life can be if we don't worry so much about everything. It felt care-free. Great job on this poem :)
