You're feeling hopeless
Cause they don't notice
The pain in your eyes
No they don't focus

You've been torn apart
You've been torn & scarred
But no one knows
Cause they disregard

You drag yourself through life
Your parents still strife
So you pull up your sleeves
and drag through a knife

You were tired of hiding it inside
& every night you just cried
But when they asked, you just lied
cause you somehow felt complied

The pain was tearing at your seams
All you wanted was to scream
You said life is what but a dream?
Then pulled the trigger & caused a scene

Your parents rushed through the door
They found you lying on the floor
They broke down crying
As they watched your blood pour

Suicide is the cowards way out because they grasp to fear and rejection.Who cares if somebody thinks differently from you stand tall for your belief we can only account for our own life not anthers.When one thinks suicide know this they are selfish and don't even conciser the effect it will have on those that love them they truly need professional counseling and society needs to stop the astigmatism they place on the emotional challenged people

Sad poem, Norastalgic. I had a friend who blew his brains out, in his parents house, at the tender age of nineteen. His parents were home at the time and their lives were torn apart. "Hiding inside," like you wrote in your poem, is a deep ocean. I believe that people who find the courage to write are survivors. It can be like an anchor and I wish my friend who killed himself had an outlet. Thank you for sharing your writing, Norastalgic. I worry and I hope you'll be ok.
