Untitled Document

A Poem by NoraMaria

Inspiration is never hollow.

She is an untitled document.

The author can’t stay focused,

no outline to follow.

On bare cloth, no color can diminish.

A blank canvas surrounded by paintings.

Works she sees as masterpieces,

But really"they’re not finished.

The change she can finally accept.

Her first line has been written,

And the second is in progress.

Strokes can now freely be swept.

Unvarnished wood can still be gleaming.

Changes have not been saved,

There is no need for permanence.

Art without a frame still has meaning.
