The true light.

The true light.

A Poem by Noor Zahra

The true light.

She sat by the fire,
once, a dark chilly night.

With eyes all wet,
in the time of plight.

She gazed at the stars
and asked with all her might,

"Tell me the secret to your brightness, Oh, dear stars!"
"Why am I so dull in shades and why you all shine so apart?"

The stars replied, " Oh, dear child!"
"Don't you know the answer to such a simple interrogation?"

"It is, dear child, your tests in life,
as they are things that highlight you."

"And, Oh! don't you see, dear child,
we have to burn so we can shine this bright."

"And remember that dark is required to define the light,
and this is the secret to, how we shine this bright?"

Then the girl closed her eyes,
and took a deep breath,

And swallowed all the words,
so, she could never forget,

And she finally said,
"Oh, dear stars! Now I know the secret to luminosity."

"In order to shine;
I have to burn,"

"And in order to excel in life,
I have to find the true light,
which is hidden deep with in myself."

A really strong message given here.
"And in order to excel in life,
I have to find the true light,
which is hidden deep with in myself."
