tomorrow

tomorrow

A Poem by Penguin

one starlit night forever and a world ago i happened upon a tragedy.

i still haven’t found the girl who ran away that day.

only drinking
living
today’s ambedo

accompanied by your embrace
so warm and rarely welcome
can i dare to dream of something beyond all this
can we, together, find the strength to hope,
as xx would want
for a future lying somewhere ahead the whispers of chaos
floating back to today’s us.

beyond the cloudbursts
only such perpetual amore,
could show us these breathtaking skies.

you took my hand.
