A Requiem for a Dream

A Requiem for a Dream

A Poem by W.R. Singleton
"

An Acrostic Experiment

"
A silent scream

Remember me in your dreams
Evanescent recital of words
Questioning our existence
Until we find recourse
In beautiful tranquility
Essence of validity
Meandering a response

Floating on a current
Of pure thought
Resounding silent soliloquy

A requiem inside

Decipher its meaning
Remember its substance
Edify the ignorance
Among the lost and wayward
Muse of forgotten dreams

I like this piece, there's something about it that just makes it sing. Very nice work, keep writing! You've got talent.
