Cherish

Cherish

A Poem by NonWriterGuy
"

An experience from last winter.

"
Her eyes were windows - covered in blinds drawn tight except for the narrow opening where another eyes - young and furtive - peered cautiously out into an unfriendly world.
There was no reflection, but for a moment they were mirrors and a lonely world reeled.

i couldn't help but wishing this poem to be laid out differently, like:

her eyes were windows, covered in
blinds, drawn tight, except
for the narrow opening, where
another eyes -young and furtive-
peered cautiously out
into an unfriendly world...
....

i'd like it more then, though i still can say i enjoy this piece :) ~L

I've always wanted to try writing, but never have outside of grade school and that kind of thing. I've been told the most important thing is to keep the pen (or keyboard) moving -- even if most of wh.. more..
