Flashing scenes of irrelevancyA Poem by NomiThe waters are restless. The truth lies beneath in the depths of my memories. What is memory but fleeting moments only relevant to those they call master and creator. To me they are but flashing scenes portraying my very existence. Time is always eating away at my life. Does any of this even matter either way? Again it only matters to me. If my demise met me tomorrow wouldn't it truly only affect me? Every other soul would continue on until they met their ultimate fate. On that fact every person relates. Life feels like merely a game, cliché but true none the less. Life…an obstacle course of irrelevancy leading to the beyond, The one true unknown. And all that I seem to own is my cherished memory. © 2008 Nomi |
