Chronophobia

Live for the moment,
live for the day:
make an impression
with feet of clay.
Pick up the pencil,
pick up in bars:
dance to the music
of crashing cars.
Remember the first time,
remember the last;
hold back the stop watch,

Do what you need to,
do what you must:
write in the water
with a handful of dust.
