Lover's Embrace

Lover's Embrace

A Poem by Nomen

Her silky hair blows gently in the breeze

and tickles your face on a summer's day

draped in gossamer wings, you are at ease

and float into airy dreams D'Monet

you walk with her on the Cliffs of Pourville

you bask in her garden at Giverny

and sunsets on the seine at Vetheuil...

Amid this growing excitement, you see --

Like glistening dew on a spider's bed

Her eyes sparkling diamonds of night skies

beckoning you to partake of her web

while her lips are singing sweet lullabyes...

Tread gently into your lovers embrace,

She's stark-raving mad, though kindly of face.

Such a sweet poem at the beginning, turning into something haunting and quite scary. I loved it. A well written piece.
