Unrequited

Unrequited

A Poem by Nomen

Why does he lie, then take the pain away with a soothing sigh
and i cry, because i know time still lingers by

i thought of him last night, of his smooth silk skin and strong embrace
his scent rests on my pillow, his pleasure in the air

and then his touch... a kiss.

He holds me hard, he loves me gentle
secures me, thoroughly
painstakingly

a longing look, of silent love
awakens me, in pure ecstacy
intoxicatingly

and then i come...

I'm his, and I have what I don't have
he loves, but is not love
he lies, but so believingly
unceasingly,
I'm his.
