A Poem by Nomen

Please look past the wrapping

it came quite cheap

but unlined, is where you find

The gift...

the wrap is really just scrapping

Please look past the wrapping

that, it comes quite cheap

a piece of mind, you will find

Inside...

the wrap just covers the tracking

And we run, playfully panging.

Look at us,

the womb comes for free

but life pays a price

Of blood worn paths...

and freedom in the hanging

THE GIFT.

The best gifts are never wrapped. And I suppose some of the worst ARE wrapped. This was wonderful. "THe GIft"...reminds me of that song by Seether....;)
