Reality's Flight

Reality's Flight

A Poem by NomadKing1971

It's time to face this compromise,

between,

reality's flight, and

the path I would like;

for the day and the night cross,

to create a blur-

forced now, to focus, to come back;

sub-conscious world, this conscious world,

won't leave me be.

O molester of thoughts,

my time you've bought-

at least let me have my thoughts.

Untouched; like that of a natural spring,

the most pure form.

Untouched; like that of a baby,

before the first words twist out.

Untouched; like that of the simple green leaf

we overlook.

touched; like that of the man,

whom was committed today,

touched; like that of each second,

our lives fade through.

This conscious world.....won't leave me be.
