Glamorous Animals

Glamorous Animals

A Poem by NomadKing1971

We are nothing, but glamorous animals,

trying to create a heaven on earth.

Condescendance permitted, within contempt,

on natures behalf.

O mother, punish me, send me to my room,

where realms await,

mind's inquisitive probing, but first;

let me watch slaughter,

take possession of the calf.

Sacriligous sacrifice,

the willing creatures haunt now-

for death's door entered without a thanks;

no respect, no acknowledgement.

Nothing, but mad angry spirits;

where does the savagery lie now?
