Nonexistent

Nonexistent

A Poem by NoireWriter

Love does not exist, it is not kind.
Love is bitter and cold.
An illusion of the mind.
A disguise, a false mould.

A death of all happiness,
A promise of deceit.
Lured in with 'love's first kiss';
The perfect skip of the hearts beat.

Only to be torn out by life's glimmered claws.
Shredded and left naked on the ground.
Bearing every secret and all our flaws.
Where once peace had been found.

Whispered promises of lies.
Hugs of ravishment.
Cheating husbands and wives.
A witches tilecmen.

Love is but a curse.
Set to punish the innocent.
Paid by the devils purse.
A ring of 'eternity' is simply, metal bent.

Love is envious,
Love is hard,
Love is tenacious,
Love leaves you marred.

I felt this way for a long period of time, I believe I was bitter. God is love,
so I believe until we know him love is just emotion, try to forgive don't forget and
let God work! Whatever you choose to do keep writing, this is a terrific write, thanks for sharing. PTL!
