DarkestA Poem by ElliTheir in the false light. They've tried to blind me with what they believe is right. They say be a brave knight, despite seeking refuge when seeing truth, that it's all finite. "Yeah, Go ahead Invite others into your homes, Be polite and get them to come into the light." Nothing wrong with living for others, But when they don't accept your lies and they don't decide to recite them, Don't say their in the dark like you do because your the one without sight. Tell them to mark me off. Because now my blindfold is off. To keep the blindfold on any longer is a fool's gold. I don't need or want to be controlled. Without their mangled view of the world, I've had to be cold. Ever since I was forced to uphold what they told, I've been dead inside from that chokehold, But I still doubt that this will f*****g ensoul me. It's a lie that you spread life when you tell me to die. So goodbye, I won't miss any of your 'words to live by'. F**k living for others and being harmless, No one can not hurt anyone regardless. So ladies and gentlemen.
Your show is no longer starless, 'Cause I'm about to get my life started, But to do so I'm going to embrace the darkest part of this artist. © 2018 ElliAuthor's Note
