Lavender
On that day he found himself in a café.
At first he was unaware of the girl who arrived.
Though once he caught sight, his heart she would play.
She brought emotion which to him, he’d been deprived.
In his line of sight, her face at a phase.
There he sat transfixed in gawp.
Before his exit he remained there in a laze,
But he soon retreated from realization of a flop.
Returning, he hoped to see her once more.
To him she appeared as beautiful and delicate as a flower.
From this moment he believed to gain recognition through his core.
Executing such a plan requires he does not cower.
He returned to assume his seat.
After laying a lavender rose at her table.
To him, she smiled from such a treat.
It was at this moment he was aware the core was no fable.
At first sight of you, I was captivated;
completely in love.
Blue
It was her who taught him what is meant by beauty.
A combination of what one can and cannot see.
To possess the characteristics which many desire,
To possess the features which many seek to acquire.
Someone who seems to be of the up-most perfection.
One who assumes complete control of his affection.
Due to this, it is difficult to be one to gleam,
To the girl who he thought only existed in his dream.
It’s easier to dismiss the faults.
Except if they are our own.
Our love can produce a veil to bring to a halt,
The impurities in which we normally would condone.
So with all of his power,
He handed her a blue rose.
She accepted the flower,
Though she rejected the message it does impose.
I was certain that with someone of such
beauty, I would never have a chance.
Orange
Hand her an orange rose.
Restarting the heart which had froze.
The transition from pessimistic,
To someone who is now so optimistic.
He extended an invitation,
Both of them set on an expedition.
Through the concrete maze they traverse.
The whole way they converse.
They learn the things to which they relate.
Those they don’t, they each debate.
Now together they shall mend,
The fabrications which allow them to call each other a friend.
This could be the start of something new.
Until he learns how to woo.
The beginning of something more,
From the core he will allow himself to soar.
But you made me realize it was something
that was not above.
Peach
Looking to express how he does feel,
Though his fate this may seal.
If by some chance she does not feel the same,
He knows there is no one to blame.
He knows the complications of the heart,
It’s something one cannot simply chart.
Whatever the risk,
To her he must whisk.
Now before her he is consumed by his nerves.
Unsure if what he possesses will serve.
But then she stands also with a purpose.
He can see it hidden beneath the surface.
He reveals his true affection,
Though she has her own confession.
The distance between them they close,
As they both exchange a peach rose.
It’s because of this our hearts were
given the opportunity to dance.
Pale Peach and Dark Red
When it comes to herself, she does not think much.
She’s not into an elegant dress,
She does not want a designer clutch.
No heels or accessories to caress.
She does not need concealer,
Or to add layers of foundation.
She wants no makeup to conceal her.
There’s no need to add animation.
She shows everyone compassion.
For others she always puts her needs aside.
When someone needs help, she’s the first into action.
To do what she believes is right, she will not bide.
The underlying personality.
It is from what I can infer,
Realization of her true identity.
A pale peach and a dark red rose is what I’ll give her.
I came to learn how beautiful you are
with the absence of conceit.
Red and Yellow
She’s someone to bring out the best of he.
There’s no one else with who he’d rather be.
The other, they very much understand.
Now formed something which can withstand.
Someone there when they need to talk.
A person to accompany them when on a walk.
Both filled with immense honesty,
All their cards out for the other to see.
To always try something new.
Together there’s always something to do.
When you don’t have to go far to find,
As they are always on each other’s mind.
In each other they dismiss any fault.
Any barrier put in place, the other will vault.
There’s no one better than who the core chose.
For that, they deserve a red and a yellow rose.
There’s so much that brings me joy
resulting from this.
Yellow with a Red Tip
Locked in a gaze between each other’s eyes.
To him it had not come as a surprise.
It’s a feeling for him which is not familiar.
All he can do is hope the feeling for her is similar.
t’s the way he feels when they’re together,
But also the way he feels without her.
Never wanting the moment to end, hence
Counting down the seconds until the next shall commence.
To make her the first one to call.
Putting her above everything, for her he’ll never stall.
Losing her would be of the upmost cost.
Without her, he’d be nothing but lost.
It is because of her,
That he can infer.
Both never to impose.
He gives a yellow with a red tip rose.
Which is what assured me that you were
the one to who I’d seat.
Single Red
What can he do to show,
The feelings from which the core flow.
In each other they can bear.
Because of this, it is implausible to tear.
Still unsure what one can do.
To show this feeling, he needs a cue.
So they’ll find the nest,
And he will attempt his best.
Gather up everything she likes most.
Pick her up and take her to the coast.
Once she sees of what its comprise,
It won’t come to her as a surprise.
He did not want to be the first,
But if he doesn’t he think he’ll burst.
So extended from his hand as the coastal air blows.
He hands her a single red rose.
To ensure it was true I had to express in
the form of a kiss.
Red and White
He took her to a place where the sun always shone.
A place to bring a new tone.
Somewhere where they could enjoy the solitude.
Her hazel eyes showed nothing but gratitude.
Sitting up along the shore,
She had no idea of what was in store.
He did the best he could to hide,
The only secret he held inside.
Watching as the light reflected off her mocha hair.
The sun was beginning to add color to her skin usually faire.
Absorbing all of the heat,
Feeling the grains of sand pass over her feet.
But under the palm tree,
He rises to his knee.
To hold roses, a red and a white.
A band around the stem, placing it on her finger brought great delight.
I took your hand hoping you shared the
same vision.
White
He never thought he’d be here,
It’s the day that brought him fear.
Now there’s nothing he can do,
It’s just something he has to go through.
Standing in front of all who spectate.
All the people he’s learned to appreciate.
He can’t help but smile,
When he sees her on the other end of the aisle.
To have and to hold,
Next to him now she looks so bold.
To each other they bestow,
As they both share their vow.
Together at the altar,
They know their love will never falter.
Once it is time to enclose,
She turns to hold up her white rose.
Standing at the aisles end with you by my
side, I couldn’t wait for I do.
Pink
They did not need to be joint in unity,
To know that they were meant to be.
He knows there’s nothing better,
than waking up each morning next to her.
Every day there’s no chance of bile.
They always display a smile.
Present is not a ploy,
Together they always bring each other joy.
The both of them grow familiar,
As they have so much that is similar.
No matter how much they tease,
They are aware of how to appease.
In each other they excite.
One making the core of the other ignite.
Now as both cores close,
It shows that of a pink rose.
To have such elegance. Not harsh nor
rough, in you starts fission.
Pale Pink
All she does is care.
He knows whenever he’s in need, she’ll be there.
The times when he’s most sold,
He has her, in his arms he’ll hold.
At the time when one falls ill,
The needs of the other, they will fill.
Even if all goes wrong,
With each other they’ll feel they belong.
If all is well they still don’t mind,
To do something they believe is kind.
Providing each other with certain ecstasy,
Acquiring their preferred delicacy.
Doing things to show they care,
It’s irrelevant about the fare.
Which is why each shows,
A pale pink rose.
Despite my condition I know nothing can expunge
what we've been through.
Yellow
No matter how tight you hold,
The risk grows greater as it gets old.
Though however they fend,
All good things must come to an end.
To lay helpless in this bed,
Machines attached to his head.
She haven’t the slightest clue,
Because she knows there is nothing she can do.
She sits by his side,
There she will reside.
Together to reminisce,
Until he turns to eternal bliss.
The body to ash as the flames ignite.
She waits until the day they will reunite.
But in the photo album she will find,
A yellow rose attached to the bind.
I did the best I could to provide the
most, no matter much one gives.
Black
She takes him back where the sun
always shone,
Though from the last, there is a different tone.
She knows she cannot be,
Unless she knows he is set free.
To everyone she raises a toast,
As they all look out to coast.
Everyone he’s learned to appreciate,
Sharing all they can radiate.
Standing under the palm tree,
She hopes that he is in a place where he can see.
No matter his place she hope he can hear,
The retelling of memories as they all shed a tear.
Now she releases him as she spills the ash.
In the sand it shall cache.
Along with the ash, down she throws.
A final black rose.
My time spent worthwhile, as everybody
dies but not everybody lives.
