I Know I Have A Tail

I Know I Have A Tail

A Poem by Noiz

In this moment, I feel the weight of the world falling into an unnatural spiral.

Everything that can go wrong suddenly drifts to the opposite side of the scale.

Nothing to hold onto.

My grip remains stale.

The air in my lungs doesn’t care to stay.

Say something, don’t think about the terms.

All the lunatics suddenly invade my mind.

And there’s no room to squirm.

The thumping in my ears is increasing.

My eyes can’t keep their sight.

Night after night I fight.

I crawl in a daze and there’s no going back.

This person has drawn me too close.

How can we work?

Something this hurtful can’t be solid.

I’m going too far, too far into the future.

I need to turn around.

This entity is thrusting a knife into my soul.

The street of emotion holds too many crossroads.

Slow down.

Slow down, I say.

A wonder of nature is my idol.

The street is just constant.

And the emotions are showing stress.

Little by little, I’m chasing steps.

This can only fall into madness.
