UsedA Poem by NoizI’ve discovered the treasure of leaving, but I know you’re not pleased. For too many moons and too many suns, I’ve accepted cruelty. This connection holds no sincerity. It’s a hollow vessel of a shelter alarmed. But our struggle holds on to the iron of this cage. Warmth is wasted in your icy arms. I won’t bear another arduous rage. Uncertainty comes with a price. A risk to receive hate, or receive something nice. So our choices dissipate today, But we’ll both uncover another way. © 2016 Noiz |
