Coitus

A Poem by ZeeDeeVille

The moon, her grace,
Bears witness to the crime I repeat
A sin I cannot dethrone.
I have never wanted a god.
Who is to say this creeping man is not one on his own?

The moon, her eyes curl into an infinite smile.
She knows of what I speak.
This sin I cannot bear to shake
This sin I do not carry alone.
Who is to say this is a sin, but the very entity I decline?

I find myself here, bare, exposed
A blur of skin, eyes, heat
A whirl of emotions, the clashing of thoughts
The peak of vitality, a combining of atoms
I find myself here very often

Unequivocal to me
Yes, this is where I was meant to be
In his arms
In his eyes
In his soul

Unable to explain a word though my mind has created many
My mind has created painting, poems
Yet I cannot manage to avulse a single one

How do I say it?
I am absolutely in love, but I cannot express it.
The moon bears my burden
She smiles, her people in absolute mystery of her
Yet they see no expression from her.
