Head Thumping.

Head Thumping.

A Poem by ZeeDeeVille

They are something that we are not
She is something that I don't consider real
He is something that has hidden his face from the world.
I've never been jelous before, so I do not understand what she is
He's something that I once tasted as the greatest soul
She has stabbed out that soul and placed her own bitter flavour into it
I don't know that I want to know his company any longer.
I can only watch him loose touch with what is different
And judge humanity to be the same...to consider all of us the same
I loved him once, but you cannot take back what was never yours to keep.
He was never once mine, and I never once was his
Should that mean that I should sit here and watch this happen?
In a world where I am a dagger, where I am bold and outspoken,
I have already made the confrontation and gave him his spirit back
But being consious in this world where I am an unlifted shield,
I can only watch, and selfishly protect myself.
