Brain Basement

Brain Basement

A Poem by ZeeDeeVille

Her hair is the ink black rain
Slicing pain into my face
Into my body
Robing my heart of all of its grace
Of everything I ever lived for
The thought of helplessness took its place
She grata me with her taloned hands
Each claw gouging my spirit
Tearing away all that I ever knew
Tearing me farther, faster--
Away from you
Pulling me up
Into the eye of the storm
The void of nothing
It greets me here
Flow chartings my thoughts
Draining away my life and soul
My eyes are glazing over
My heartbeat is getting slow
But I don't remember what happened
You pushed me here--
I know
