Window

Window

A Poem by NoelAsh

The doorway was my window

Window to look at the birds who cant fly

Window to watch the fish who cant swim

Window to smell lifesaving chemicals that killed you

Window to feel the doom of an early death

Limping down the hall way, nurses either side

IVs in both arms

fingertips are the only guide

interrupted by a blue, brown, red, green alarm

A sad vision create by the poem. You create a lonely place. I did like the use of the windows. Even in bad situation. We need some kind of view of our world. A strong ending to a excellent poem.
