My Greatest Love

This is a dedication to a very special love... (I almost never write poetry, but with this one I regret nothing.)

For you my love is quite true

Something wonderful to save my soul

For me this is in fact, something new

Something to fill this gaping hole

My love for you is like no other

Because it is you that aids me

My legs, around you feel like rubber

Near you I feel quite free

For you I am but a slave

When we met, I was quite shaken

But now I am quite brave

Because my love is in fact for bacon

Just a joke, if you want to review feel free, but I wrote this while eating a bacon, salami, and cheese sandwich, so I wasn't expecting any prizes.

Nicely done...I was wondering about the idea, and then there was the punch line. I also enjoy bacon, and I find that while I may not get rubbery legs when I order a BLT from my favorite bistro in town, I do have a certain sense of erotic satisfaction while consuming it.

Ha, thank you. It's probably the one type of food that I literally can't say "no" to when offered. I dunno, I've had some pretty good BLTs that constitute a near rubbery leg reaction.

Yeah, totally cool with it. I'd prefer a review be critical, I'm of the opinion that it's not really helping if it isn't honest. I was going to respond to that but I've been going in order of when I got reviews and then reading and reviewing something of theirs in return, I've just got like 8 reviews last night, but I'm reading Dan and Kate at the moment.
