InvestigationA Chapter by Noah Wayverlynn
The day after Yuna Aishi and Taro Soma escaped Kenta's mental institution, Osoro Aishi receives a call from her son stating that Yuna escaped. "This is Osoro Aishi speaking." Osoro said as she answered the phone early in the morning. "Mom, Yuna has escaped! I think she escaped with another person who stays here." Kenta said quickly. "I'm on my way!" the mom said as she grabbed her keys hanging from a hook. "okay mom. hurry." Kenta stated before they hung up. Osoro had to quickly drive to the institution to investigate the situation, but at the same time she did her best to drive under the speed limit. Once Kenta's mom got to the institution, Kenta led her in to see the footage that was captured that day. They watched the footage closely in Kenta's office with the door closed. Kenta had cameras by the backyard where the teens had to play. He saw what happened in the backyard. "I wish the cameras could record audio so I can hear what they're saying." Osoro said as she crossed her arms and shook her head. Kenta stood up after the footage ended. "We are doing our best to get them back. My assistant already called the police, and they said they would do anything in their power to get them back." He said with a frown. Mrs. Aishi stood up. "I have to alert the school." Kenta nodded, and let his mom step out of the office. As Osoro went to her car, she began calling Yanamikara High School. "Hello Mrs. Yamada! Yuna Aishi has escaped the mental institution. She is with a boy who also escaped the institution. keep a look out." She said as she started the car. "Will do. thanks for the information." Mrs. Yamada replied on the other end of the line. Osoro began driving to work once she hung up the phone. Before Osoro Aishi went to work, she went to the police station to report her daughter missing. She had a sketch of her daughter as well as information to hand over to the police. The information she had included Yuna's height, eye color, hair color, hairstyle, and other important information that could help solve the mystery. "Hello officer Rio. My name is Osoro Aishi, and I am Yuna Aishi's mother. Here is some important things that may help you find her. I also included a sketch of Yuna that she created a month ago." Osoro said as she placed the folder on the desk, and smiled politely. "Thank you Osoro Aishi. This will be useful for the investigation and for Yuna's case. We will keep you updated on the latest information about the investigation." Officer Yoshi Rio replied with a smile. Kenta already reported Yuna's escape to the police, so they already knew that they were looking for a dangerous school girl who escaped from a mental institution. With Osoro's information and sketch, they could track Yuna down faster. Yoshi and Osoro shook hands, and Osoro left the station afterward. Mrs. Aishi listened to the news on the way to her work, and heard the story about her daughter's investigation. "Tokyo police are investigating a dangerous high school psychopath who escaped from a mental institution yesterday. Witnesses claim that escaped with a boy by the name of Taro Soma. If you see a girl named Yuna Aishi or a boy named Taro Soma, call the local police station. Thank you." By the time the news report was over, Mrs. Aishi was pulling into the parking lot at her work. As she got out of the car, some of her co-workers wished her luck with her daughter's investigation. Before the mother of three could clock in to start her shift, a manager at her work approaches her. "Osoro Aishi, you are wearing the wrong pants. You are wearing yoga pants, and those are stictly prohibited. Please go home, and change into some dress pants. Unfortunately, I can't let you work until your uniform follows the company policy." Osoro nodded sadly, and turned to exit her workplace. "I can't believe I'm wearing the wrong pants." She muttered to herself as she walked to her car. The mother got into the car, and began driving back to her house so she could change her pants. The drive to the Aishi residence was quiet and smooth, but then the moment go ruined when she was trying to pull into her driveway. Bam! A driver was texting and driving, and ran straight into Osoro's car. The car flew into the air, glass shattered, and Osoro bumped her head extremely hard on the steering wheel when the car landed. The strangest thing is that the driver who was texting while driving was not hurt after the incident. The driver heard Mrs. Aishi's car alarm go off while the car horn was honking, and got out to examine the damage. "Hey! are you okay? Can you hear me?" he asked as he reached through the broken window to unlock the door. With Osoro Unresponsive, the guy unbuckled her to get her out of the car. He began calling for help when he couldn't get the woman better. "Hello. My name is Jonas Yamashikah, and I need EMS here right away!" He yelled. He continued, and yelled out the address. Once he finished yelling the address, the receptionist replied "Calm down Mr. Yamashikah. We're sending some EMS crew your way right now. They will be there shortly." Jonas took a deep breath, and answered the questions he was asked. Shortly afterward, an ambulance pulled up at the scene. They helped the unresponsive woman, and strapped her up on the stretcher, and loaded into the ambulance. When the ambulance left, Jonas went to the police station to tell them about the incident. He was charged with a big fee, and he was also responsible for the damage he caused. With Osoro Aishi in the hospital, and Yuna missing...it was going to be quite an investigation. The next day, Jonas Yamashikah was called in for questioning. With a nervous look on his face, Jonas sat at the table waiting patiently for the cop who was going to be questioning him. He was really nervous because he thought he was going to be in deeper trouble than he already was. Suddenly, the door to the investigation room slammed. It was the questioner. "Hello Mr. Yamashikah. This will be quick. Let's get started." The cop said politely with a smile Mr. Yamashikah nodded without smiling, and made eye contact with the officer. "Jonas, who or what made you text and drive yesterday? you know that's a dangerous thing to do. They tell you that in Driver's Ed class." The teenage boy looked down at the table, and responded "My girlfriend is blind, and lost her cane. I was texting her trying to reassure her that I was on the way to help her find it, and I should have pulled over and told her. I now understand the consequences of my mistake." The officer looked at Jonas with a harsh look, and shook her head. "Your girlfriend could have waited. Besides, she could have asked her parents for help. Does she live with her parents?" The boy took a deep breath, and looked at the officer. "No she does not live with her parents. she used to. Her parents disappeared a week ago. They went overseas for a business trip, but nobody has seen or heard from them after that." He scooted his seat away from the table, and looked to his left "Alright. next question. When you saw Osoro Aishi unresponsive in her car, how did that make you feel?" Jonas turned towards the officer, and responded "It made me feel regretful. I should have waited until I wasn't driving to send a text. I am glad that i got out, and called for help though. She could've been there on the ground if I wouldn't have noticed." The teenager crossed his arms as the officer gave him the next question. "So Jonas, Did you know that the woman you put in the hospital is looking for her daughter? She is looking for her daughter because of an escape that happened at a mental institution. Have you seen the teenage girl anywhere? Do you know this girl?" Jonas let his arms drop by his side, and slammed a fist on the table. "Look Officer! Yes I confess that I was texting and driving, but I have NOTHING to do with your petty little investigation. Yes I know the daughter is missing. I don't know her, and I have not seen her anywhere." before the officer could calm Jonas down, Jonas lunged at her aggressively. The female officer dodged the attack, and other officers ran in to restrain him. "Are you alright Officer Madoka?" A male asked her. "Would you like to press any charges?" He added. With a smile, Officer Madoka responded "Yes I'm fine Officer Yoshi. I don't think pressing any charges would do any good, but I think that Jonas Yamashikah should be investigated more to find the reason for his aggressiveness." Yoshi nodded, and walked towards the door. "Maybe we should keep Jonas locked up for the time being. That way he doesn't put anyone else in danger." He said as Officer Madoka approached the door. She nodded, and gave him a high five. "Good thinking Yoshi." she said calmly. "Lock him up! We are investigating him further." Yoshi told the cops who were restraining the teenager. The officers nodded, and led Jonas to a holding cell. They put him in handcuffs, and told him to sit down. "Jonas, we received orders from Officer Yoshi. He told us to lock you up for a while. You are being investigated further due to your aggressive actions." Jonas looked at the cops dead in the eyes "n...n...no wait! I can explain! I didn't mean to be aggressive." The cops shook their heads, and left without responding. They closed the door, and told Officer Yoshi that they finished following the orders they were given.
