Checking In With KentaA Chapter by Noah Wayverlynn
Later that same day, Yuna and her family arrive at Dreams and Smiles Mental Institution. Yuna was asleep, so her mom had to carry her into the building. Once Kenta Aishi was done helping the people that were in before them, he helped his mom and sisters. "Yuna is asleep." Osoro said as she approach the counter. "I can change that." Kenta says as he reaches for the pitcher of ice cold water on the back counter, He comes in front of the counter, and pours it all over his sister Yuna. A few seconds later, Yuna wakes up and yells. "Hey! that was cold! I was trying to take a nap! Bro, you better watch you back. I'll get you back for that! Mom! put me down now!" Osoro and Kenta laugh as the mom puts her daughter down. Yuna's sister steps in to hold Yuna's left arm as her mom holds the right arm to keep the girl restrained. "Akira! Let me go sis!" Yuna yelled. Akira Aishi shook her head as she tightened her grip. Yuna tried to kick her sister in order to become free from her grasp, but stopped as she saw her sister's pepper spray. "Yuna Rika Aishi! you better stop trying to fight me, or else I'll pepper spray you." the girl stopped. After they checked Yuna into the institution, Kenta led them to his sister's room. "Wow this is a big place Kenta!" His mom stated. Kenta nodded in response. "Yuna will be spending the majority of her stay in this room. The only time she will be let out is for meal time or for psychological classes. She will also be able to go to the built in gym if she is good enough during classes and meal time. There are also other rewards she can win for good behavior. When we see major improvements, she will be able to get let out." Kenta stated as he gave his mom Yuna's daily schedule. The room was pink with a purple rug. A desk sitting near the window, and the bed on the far left. There was also a small bathroom attached. After talking for a while, Kenta, Yuna, Akira, and their mom said their goodbyes. Kenta led his sister back to her room, and locked the door when she was inside so she wouldn't escape. Yuna was not eligible to have a roommate due to her violence and insanity. If Yuna escaped, her brother would be authorized to call the police in order to have a search party find her. A few hours later, Yuna was let out of her room to socialize with other people in the institution. All the doors that led outside were either locked or guarded by guards, so Yuna was unable to escape. She couldn't attack the security guards, because they have extensive self defense training. "Hi. My name is Taro Soma. I'm Mina Soma's brother. What are you in here for?" a friendly voice asked as Yuna sat down at a table. "I am here because of school violence and insanity." Yuna declared as other people joined them. "Oh I see. I'm in here because my anger got the best of me, and I smacked him with a baseball bat during gym." Taro replied quickly. The time passed quickly as Yuna and Taro chatted. Eventually it was time for Yuna to return to her room. As a guard locked up her room, Yuna sat on her bed while writing in a diary she stuffed in her bag. She turned on some music using the radio that was already in her room. Her diary entry read:
Dear diary, My first day at my brother's mental institution is going alright so far. I don't want to be here, but I was sent here because of my insane behavior and actions. I don't have my phone with me because mom took it away when she yelled at me after the meeting with the school principal. I met this really nice boy named Taro Soma, and he is so dreamy. I feel like I am falling in love with him, but I have to focus on my main love target named Takashi Matsumoto. Should I give up Takashi, and try to fall in love with Taro? or should I just keep being a bad girl? I don't know, but I hope I decide soon. Right now I have to try focusing on being the best girl in the institution. Maybe Kenta will let me out soon. I hope so. Yuna Aishi. Once she finished her diary entry, Yuna put her diary under the bed and started getting ready for dinner. Once dinner was over, she had to report back to her room so she could get ready for bed.
