The Ceremony

A week after the crystal incident, the Moon family held a ceremony to honor Aya and her powers. Aya was earning a badge and her tiara which was black and had a dark streak on it. It was 4 AM, and the ceremony started in 30 minutes. Kate and Tina helped Aya get ready. "It's time!" Kate says once she looked at her watch thirty minutes later. Once the outdoor entertainment area was filled, the Moon family walked up onto the stage. While Kate made the opening statement, everyone else sat down in the crowd. "Welcome to this special ceremony. We gather here today, because we would like to acknowledge a very special person for her bravery." As Aya approached the stage, Kate announced her name "Aya Moon, I present you with this badge of bravery and this tiara to honor your bravery. I am so proud of you and how brave you stayed when we had to get my crystal back from a thief." Aya waved to the audience as Kate rewarded her. The rest of the family gave their speeches after Aya gave hers. Kate and Aya were already sitting down when the other 3 family members finished up on stage. "I don't know my sister very well, but I was so proud of her when I found out the brave thing she did. I was excited when we were discussing her bravery, and I was so happy that day." Amy said. She had a long speech, but it was only 10 minutes. After the ceremony and the after party, the family went back inside and discussed their future. "Hey Jessie, would you like to move somewhere with me?" Kate asks. Kate was tired of the royal life, and she wanted to go away from royalty completely. "Yes." Jessie said with excitement. Jessie was not tired of royalty, but he wanted to stay with Kate. Aya and Amy wanted to stay with Tina, because they loved being royal. Tina was going to stay, because she wanted to stay in control of the darkness. It was a hard decision for the Moon family to come up with, but they liked the idea after a while. Sometimes the Moon family did not want to split up at all, but they began to grow ok with it. All of them chatted as Kate and Jessie packed to get ready for their departure. Jessie and Kate agreed to go to Rainbow Valley, and it was far away from Starlight. Kate would still have her powers, but she couldn't control darkness once she left the royal area. Jessie had no interest in controlling darkness, and he wanted to go with Kate to Rainbow Valley. The next day, Jessie and Kate left the mansion. The three girls cried when they left, but then Tina stopped and reassured the other two that Kate and Jessie chose that to experience new things. The girls nodded, and they all went inside to celebrate. Amy, Aya, and Tina wanted to develop a strong unbreakable bond so they began right there on the spot. No matter what trouble came upon the girls, they proved they can stop it and come up on top.
