First Day At Diamond Middle School

"Time to get up Vanessa!" Jade says politely as she walks into Vanessa's room. Diamond Middle School started classes at 8:45am and the girls wanted to be there on time for their first day. The principal wanted them to come in early to give them their schedules and give them a tour and some orientation so they can get used to the school. After the girls were all ready for school, Jade and Vanessa rode Jade's bike to school. They only live two blocks away from the school, and it didn't take long for them to get there. "Here we are!" Jade said as the girls looked for a bike parking rack. Mrs. May was the school principal. As the girls parked their bike, Mrs. May walked up to them "Excuse me girls, are you Vanessa and Jade Ellsine?" The girls nodded, and Jade finished putting her bike on park. "Welcome to Diamond Middle School! This school is part of the Dreamville private schools district. We are easy going, and we have small class sizes. We also have various activities and clubs you can join. Come with me" The girls followed Mrs. May to her office. Mrs. May was wearing a lime green top with black pants. Her shoes were white sneakers,, and her blonde hair was pinned up in a bun. When they sat down, the girls and Mrs. May discussed everything about starting school there. The principal handed the girls their schedules, and then said "Ready for a quick orientation?" Jade and Vanessa nodded, and they all walked out of Mrs. May's office to start the orientation. An hour later, they finished their orientation It was 8:26, and girls put their stuff in their lockers while they discussed their schedules. Jade and Vanessa had lockers right next to each other, but they had different schedules. The girls had the same study hall and lunch, so before they headed to class they said "See ya later." They gave each other a high five, and walked to class. Vanessa's schedule was Math, english, science, lunch, study hall, art, keyboarding, and gym. Jade's schedule was gym, English, science, lunch, study hall, math, choir, and sign language class. The girls took social studies when they were homeschooled, so they didn't have to take it again. Later during lunch hour, a lunch supervisor came up to the girls. "Hi there. you must be Jade and Vanessa. I am a supervisor for this lunch hour. The cafeteria has tables that are categorized by personality. Art and music lovers are on the left at the first table. gamers and bookworms are second table on the left. Emos and goths are at the third table on the left side. Before I go on, i should mention that there are 4 rows of tables, and 4 in each row. The last table on the very left is reserved for the writers and foreign language learners. Um...there are a lot of tables, so here is a map to help you find your seats. If you have more than one personality type, just choose a table that closely matches your first one. I would go through all of them, but I don't want you to run out of time to eat lunch." As he hands the maps to the girls, he walks away. Jade and Vanessa choose the Emo and goth table. As they sit down, everyone notices them, and they introduce themselves. After everyone at the table introduces themselves, Vanessa and Jade take their turn. "Hello. my name is Jade, and I am new here to Dreamville." Jade says. Vanessa introduces herself as well. "Hey I'm Vanessa, and I am also new to Dreamville. Jade and I moved here from Sunnyville." After introductions, everyone eats their lunch, and then chats. "Hey Vanessa and Jade. would you like to come to my house tonight? I am going to be hosting a Cristmas party tonight, and I think you girls are cool so I want both of you to come." Bella said. Jade and Vanessa accepted the invite, and clapped. Jade snapped her fingers and clapped right afterward, and a slip of paper appeared on the table. "Here is my number." Jade says "Call us if you need us to bring something." Bella nodded, and said "Will do." For a few minutes before the lunch break was over, Bella and the other students at the table discussed about the movie Suicide Room. "What are you talking about?" Jade and Vanessa said at once. With a surprised look on her face, Lina said "What? You never seen the movie Suicide Room??? Bella, we should watch that tonight. The girls new girls haven't seen it yet." Bella agreed, and said "Yeah we should since the Christmas party is also a sleepover." Right before the bell rang, Nick explained the rules of their group, and the girls wrote them down in their personal notebook. "Ring, ring, ring!" the bell sounded. The group agreed to meet up at Bella's house for the party, and then they went to class. As they walked to class, Vanessa said "I can't believe we were invited to a party on our first day!" Jade agreed and said "Yeah. that's good though." The girls thought it was weird that Dreamville had school on Christmas eve, but they went through with it. After their first day, they did not have to return to school until January 6th. During study hall, they couldn't talk much, but they discussed the party when they could. After the first day of school, The girls ran home to get ready for the party. They had a really good day. Vanessa and Jade finished and got ready to go. They were sure that their party would be fun.
