Moving DayA Chapter by Noah Wayverlynn
Wednesday, December 23rd was moving day. Jade woke Ella up at noon, and said "Wake up! today's the lucky day!" Ella sprung up from her bed with excitement, and then she exclaimed "Yay! I can't wait!" Jade and Ella packed the night before, and they were ready to go. Jade showed Ella another one of her powers that night, and Ella was amused. Jade cast a spell what made a carriage appear. It was like a camper and a car combined. Jade knew that it would take the rest of the week to get to their destination, so she planned accordingly as she scheduled the whole trip. On the road, Ella and Jade hang out and talked. The carriage had horses to drive it, and the back was extended as a camper for the two girls. "Where are we moving to?" Ella asked with excitement. "We are moving to this private city called Dreamville. It is like Sunnyville, but it's far away from there." Jade answered as she looked out the window. Jade added "We won't be there until late Monday morning, so we have quite a ways to go." Ella clapped happily, and then she said "Yay! We'll be far from everything that happened. I am so glad I switched sides." Suddenly, Jade asks Ella to sit still. Ella obeys, and Jade cast a spell that wiped her memory completely clean. She did the same to herself, and then told Ella "Ella, this is going to be a fresh start for us. We shouldn't talk about the past." Despite clearing their memory, Jade and Ella knew each other and things about themselves. "I am going to change your name so that no one thinks I stole you or anything." Jade tells Ella as the resume their conversation. "alright Jade. Go ahead." Ella responds after she sets her cup of water down. With a snap of a finger and two claps, Jade begins to cast the permanent name change spell upon Ella. Within a few seconds Ella Grace West was now Vanessa Grace Ellsine. Jade also cast a permanent spell that changed her appearance, so that no one suspected that her real name was Ella Grace West. She had shoulder length hair, and a tiara as a headband. She was wearing a beautiful red dress with black leggings and black sneakers. Ella was astonished after seeing Jade's powers. When Jade finished Ella's transformation, she changed her own hair back to black and added a tiara. Despite changing her hair to black, Jade had some pink highlights remaining in her hair. As two ays passed and the trip progressed, the two girls saw many different things. Vanessa took pictures of everything she saw, and Jade laid on the couch and read a book. When Vanessa finished taking pictures, she asked "What are you reading Jade?" Jade looked up from her book, and responded "I am reading Miles To go. It's a book about Miley Cyrus." Vanessa was amused by what Jade was reading, and as she sat on the couch across from her she asked "Hey. do you have a book I can read?" Vanessa put her bookmark in the book, and then she said "Of course I do Vanessa. I didn't forget about you." as she reach for the stack of books. "I will put the books on the table so you can choose what you want to read." Jade added. Vanessa looked at the stack of books, and began to read the book she picked out. "I am reading The Enchanted April." Vanessa told Jade. "Awesome choice. If you enjoy it, let me know and i will get some books like that one for you." Jade says happily. Three more days passed, and the girls got more and more excited as they approached the destination. 11:30 rolled around, and the girls finally arrived at Dreamville. "Here we are!" Jade clapped. "I already paid off the house bills for 2 years, so we don't have to worry about it." Jade added as Vanessa took more photos. A few minutes later, the girls reached their new home. It was a two bedroom two bathroom house that had a pool by the patio in the back, an office for Jade and Vanessa, a laundry area, walk-in closets, and a spacious living room and dining room. It was an open concept floor plan, and there was a beautiful fireplace under where the flat screen TV was stationed. Jade brought the TV from her living room and Vanessa's room to the new home. Vanessa and Jade both had a TV that would fit in their rooms. There was a chandelier above the dining table as well. Once they got out of the carriage, Jade cast a temporary spell that put it away until the girls needed it again. The rest of Monday consisted of unpacking and arranging. Once they were all moved in, they had dinner and then went to bed. "Good night" they both say to each other as they head up to their rooms. It was a long trip the the girls, and now they were ready to sleep. In the morning, they were going to Diamond Middle School to register themselves for classes. Ever since she became Vanessa Ellsine, she no longer needed a transcript. Jade still needed her transcript, and she had it on hand for the next day. As Jade and Vanessa turn off their lights, the wish of hope was cast upon them.
