Away From Home

This chapter follows Faith West, and what she does while she is away from home. Throughout this chapter, you will see who Faith becomes.

It was a week since Faith escaped from Sunnyville Hospital, and she was living a whole new life experiencing things on her own. She moved to a beautiful house in downtown Sunnyville, and it was far from where she lived before she escaped. The day after she ran from the hospital, she changed her appearance and her name. With her unexpected powers, she changed her name to Jade Hope Ellsine. She had black hair when she was Faith West, but she changed her hair from black to pink when she became Jade Ellsine. On December 20th, Jade was wearing a purple shirt with a jean skirt. Despite what happened the week before, Jade attended the same church as her parents did. After service, Jade saw them, and decided to introduce herself. she signed to the West family "Hello. My name is Jade Ellsine, and I am a new girl in Sunnyville." Jordan introduced himself to Jade. "Hello Jade. My name is Jordan West, and I have lived here for a while now. Annalisa, my wife, is standing by my daughter Ella." Ella introduces herself to Jade after her father finishes "Hello. My name is Ella West, and I am a daughter of Jordan and Annalisa West. I have a sister, but she went missing a week ago." Annalisa steps up after Ella finished her sentence, and with a soft angelic voice she introduces herself "Hi Jade. It's nice to meet you. My name is Annalisa West, and i am the mother of Ella Grace West and Faith Hope West. Unfortunately, my daughter Faith went missing a week ago like Ella said. We're worried about Faith, and we hope she comes home soon." The name Faith Hope West sounded familiar to her, but why? When she changed her name, she also cast a spell so she could forget her past. Or was it another Faith Hope West they were talking about? She was unaware of who this Faith girl could be. When she finished her thought, she signed to the West family. "Let's go out to dinner, and you can tell me what she looks like. Maybe I can help you find her." Mr. and Mrs. West eagerly accepted Jade's offer, and Jade picked the place to eat at. At Dream Diner, they just got seated and they are getting ready to order. While they wait for a server to take their beverage order, The West family describes Faith to Jade. "Faith has black hair. Before she disappeared, she was wearing a navy blue shirt and black pants." Annalisa said. Ella added "When i was trying to tell her to get back to the room, she changed her appearance all of a sudden. When i caught up with a girl, I asked if she was Faith....my sister. After I asked she told me that I had the wrong girl. so i don't know where Faith went." Jordan added "She has a beautiful smile, and her hair was medium sized black hair, and it was shoulder length." Jade drew a picture of her in a sketchbook she always carried with her, and when she finished the picture she asked them "Is this her?" Mr. and Mrs. West said "Yes that's our daughter Faith." Annalisa knew what Jade was saying, because Jordan interpreted Jade's question to her since Jade was holding her sketchbook. "Don't worry. I will help you look for her. I'm sure she didn't go too far away." The family looked at each other, and they asked with excitement "You will?" Jade nodded, and then she signed "Of course I will. I don't want anything to happen to her." After the server served their food and drinks, Jade added "I will check at school tomorrow. I go to Starlight Middle School as well. Maybe Ella and I could look for her during our lunch period." With excitement in her voice, Ella says "You go to Starlight Middle School too?" Jade responds with a simple "Yes I do" and she begins to eat her meal. "thank you so much Jade! We miss her so much." The family says all together. Annalisa let's Jade know that her voice sounds like Faith's, and she misses Faith very much. As she sets her cup down, she asks "Really? I can't believe I sound like her. I may not know her right now, but i find it surprising that I sound like her." The West family nods, and they all start eating their meals. Once they finished their food, Jade asks "Anyone up for dessert? We can get dessert when we leave here." Ella, Jordan, and Annalisa agree to the sound of dessert. When they all left Dream Dinner, Jade claps her hands twice and snaps her fingers. In a few seconds A piece of banana cream pie appears on a plate in everyone's hands. The West family looks at each other with a surprised look on their face, and they tell Jade "Oh wow! you have the same magic powers of Faith. She can do things like play music, make things appear, change appearances, and other things." Jade asks "Seriously? she has magic powers too? That's interesting. I can do things like change appearances, play music, make things appear and disappear, cast spells, and other things. I guess that's two things Faith and I have in common. I want to meet her someday." After the dinner and dessert, Annalisa invites Jade over to swim and hang out with them. Jade accepts the offer, and follows them to their townhouse. Jade steps out onto the patio, and spins. Within a second, she is in her beautiful yellow swimming suit, and she is ready to swim. As Ella and Jade swim together, Annalisa and Jordan begin to discuss the surprising similarities between Faith and Jade. They brought up the question What if Jade Ellsine is actually Faith West? "it is so weird that Faith and Jade have the same magic powers, the same angelic voice, and the same beautiful smile. When a piece of pie magically appear for each of us, I was astonished. When we first met Jade, I started adding up the similarities between Jade and Faith. So far Jade has 4 things in common with Faith. Maybe after we get done swimming with her, we should have her come in and ask her a few questions. Can you write down everything Jade and Faith have in common, and maybe we can make a determination on whether Jade is actually Faith?" Annalisa says to her lover. Mr. West exclaimed "Yeah we better keep an eye on that girl, and see if she is actually our daughter Faith. She claims that she is new to Sunnyville, but there are a few questions to ask. We have to ask her some of these important questions when were you born? Do you have siblings? Who are your parents? and we need to ask her if she had any former names or appearances." The young couple agrees to monitor Jade, and they went outside to join the fun. Two hours passed, and everyone went inside to have a cup of hot chocolate. "Miss Jade, can we ask you some questions?" Annalisa asked. Jade nods, and listens closely to the questions they ask her. "Jade, when were you born?" Annalisa asked without hesitation. After setting her cup down, Jade signs in response "I was born early on Thanksgiving day of 2004, but I can't remember who my parents are." Jordan wrote down that Faith and Jade were both born on Thanksgiving day in 2004, and then he asks "Do you have any siblings?" Jade replies after thinking about the question. "Yes. I have a twin sister, and she was born the same day and time that I was." The similarities between Jade and Faith were adding up, and so far they had 6 things in common. "What's your favorite color?" Ella asks to join her parents in the fun. "My favorite color is black." Jade replies  right after Ella asked the question. As the game of questions and answers progressed, more similarities between Jade and Faith were piling up. After 4 hours of asking and answering questions, Jade had to head back home. When Jade left, Annalisa, Ella, and Jordan all added up the things Jade in Faith had in common. There were more similarities than differences, and the West family agreed to confront Jade next time they saw her. As Jade rode her skateboard back home, she asked herself "Why were they asking me so many questions? That part was so boring, and I almost fell asleep. Maybe I should've left after one hour of swimming. I should've seen this coming, and I hope I don't have to see them again. Unfortunately, I promised them I'd help look for Faith and I can't back out now." She started to cry as she pulled up to her house. When she got inside her house, she grabbed her black guitar and a pen, and she started writing a new song. She was singing her song while she wrote it, and by the end she was tearing up inside. She stationed herself at her personal recording studio area, and began to record her new song. By the time her first album was released, the West family would know that she is not Faith West.....She is Jade Ellsine!
