My Campus Visit at NDSUA Story by Noah Wayverlynntoday I visited North Dakota State University in Fargo. I got an hour campus tour and a hour to meet with a counselor. it was a fun experience, and I thought I would share it with you.Today was the day I got to visit North Dakota State University in Fargo North Dakota. I arrived around 10:45AM with my Aunt and Uncle. I was very excited, and desperate to get started. We parked the car in a parking lot, and went to the admission office. We went up to the desk, and they gave me a folder with information in it. I had to look over the information they had, and it looked correct so I didn't have to make any corrections. We sat and waited for a tour guide to take us on a campus tour. When the tour guide came, we went outside and my Aunt stayed in the car while Uncle and I went on the tour. We saw many buildings, and we also got to go into some of them. we went into the student union, the Library, The wellness center, a dorm room, and another one that I can't remember at the moment. The tour was an hour long, and there was a long way to walk, After the tour, we went back to the admission office to wait for a counselor to meet with us. We received a bottle of water that had NDSU on it. We met with the counselor, and we received a lot of information. I told her my interests and what my possible major would be, and she gave me information on all of them. Once the meeting was over, I got a free NDSU T-shirt. at first when she asked me what size shirt I wear, I said extra large. My aunt then said 2x. Luckily, the 2x was a great choice. After the meeting was done, we went to a bison statue so I can get some pictures taken. We got a few pictures, but in between I had to run back and forth to help my aunt with my phone. After we got enough pictures, we left the campus. We all had fun, despite all the walking. My aunt said she had fun, even though she didn't go with my uncle and I on the tour. I definitely had fun, and it is a college I will certainly keep in mind. :) © 2016 Noah Wayverlynn |
