Yay Christmas!

this chapter focuses on Christmas Eve and Christmas day. This will be told from Maybell's perspective. This chapter will tell you what everyone got for Christmas

When Demetrah's family came to our apartment on December 23rd, they were carrying tons of presents wrapped in beautiful colors. Demetrah's family had a tradition where they celebrate Christmas on Christmas eve, but I never really celebrate it. Demetrah's mother started cooking up Christmas dinner, while the rest of us set up the Christmas tree and set the presents underneath. Demetrah was sleeping in late, because she barely got that much sleep last night. She was too excited that her family was here. Suddenly as I set the last present under the tree, Demetrah comes out yelling with extreme excitement and tears of joy. "Hey guess what! I have great news! :) I regained all of my vision!!!!!!!!!!! I can see again!" Everyone stopped what they were doing, and gave her a big hug. I'm not a person who "Hugs" so I just said congratulations. After the big news  delivered by Demetrah, we all resumed what we were doing. There was a knock on the door, it was Arizona and Vienna at the door. "Hi. We came to visit, because we wanted to see how you are doing today." Vienna says. letting them inside, I introduced everyone. "Oh what a delight to meet you girls." Demetrah's family say with excitement. a few hours passed, and finally it was time for presents. Demetrah got a: laptop, diary, travel set, and a drum kit. The laptop already had Zoomtext installed for her. I was next to open my presents, and I received a: iPhone 5, Ipod, Ps4, 3 albums by the pretty reckless, and a new black outfit. Jonas got an Xbox one, and he was extremely excited. Demetrah's brothers had to share the console so they can both play. Casey got new school supplies for Christmas, because the things he wanted to get back in August were too expensive for the family to afford. It was so funny to see the look on Casey's face when he opened them, he was about to burst into tears with all his excitement. The rest of them got a variety of things, it would be challenging to name them all. After presents, we got to rock out our presents. I was in the room singing along to The Pretty Reckless. Demetrah was on her new laptop checking out all the features. Some features included: free book downloads from Bookshare, Zoomtext, Minecraft, and more. After rocking out, we got ready for Christmas Day. The next day, we went out to Denny's and had a family breakfast. Demetrah and I had milkshakes with our meals, and we also had dessert afterwards. It was a casual hangout day, we got to play games on the Xbox one and the Nintendo Wii. We also got to open presents that Santa Claus left for us, I got a piano, and Demetrah got a braille songbook. At the end of the day, we were so tired that we had to go to bed early. As soon as Demi's family went to the hotel, we went and fell asleep right away. We were too tired to say good night like we usually do. We slept in silence as the moonlight shined into the room.
