Creative Dream

Ever since I was 5 years old, my dreams were primarily focused on becoming a singer. I couldn't think of anything else that my heart would be set on doing, and my main goal was achieving that goal. I hung onto that dream for 13 years, but last year I realized that I wanted something else. On October 18th, I realized that I wanted to be a writer and an artist. When I began focusing on doing just that, I started writing and painting more. When I was sitting in my new bedroom that October, I told myself "Arizona, that is a good goal. If your heart is set on it, then you can do it! If you have a day job while doing that on the side, you will be in good shape." I told my mom and Grandma about my decision, and too bad I didn't think of it back at the start of my freshman year. I would have known about this, i would've taken all the classes i've needed to succeed. From that day forward, I have been doing what I can while juggling school and work. Writing and creating art are two of my biggest passions, and I'll do whatever it takes to reach my goals. I will embrace it, and I will never let myself stray off this creative path.
