Something That Surprised MeA Story by Arizona Crowe
There are many things that have surprised me in life. Things like my flip flop breaking two years ago at the Mall Of America, going to Pennsylvania last year, and other things like that have surprised me a lot. Something that surprised me the most was that one time when I got my Christmas gift card mixed up with my mom's gift card. My Grandma gave my brothers and I $50 each on a gift card, and gave mom $100 on a gift card for Christmas. The one I was given on the day of Christmas had no name on it, so I assumed that it was for me. One day I was looking at Ipods, and mom called Grandma to verify if that $100 gift card was actually mine. When she called me out and had me talk to Grandma, I found out that it was my mom's gift card. After that, my mom gave me the $50 one. I wanted an ipod so bad, so she got one for me. I think I used my gift card, and she used some extra money since the ipod was somewhere around $70. Ever since I got my ipod, I listened to it every day and loved it so much. Luckily, I still have it today. At first when I found out that the $50 gift card was mine, I felt so stupid and I wanted to rewind to the time when I got them mixed up. At least it wasn't a big deal, and mom helped verify if that one was my gift card or not. Since I wanted my Ipod so bad, I sacrificed my money I was going to spend on getting my hair dyed for the ipod. However, it is still surprising to me today. Now I am going to explain something else that surprised me. I couldn't leave this one out since I was debating with myself if I should include it or not. The one thing that really surprised me was when I heard of the creepypasta called Sonic.exe.I was watching a video one time, and it mentioned that Sonic creepypasta. When I first heard of it, I thought Sonic just turned into something cooler than just himself. However, I was wrong and he looked absolutely creepy. Honestly it has been a long time since I saw a picture it him, but when I first saw it he had black eyes with red pupils. Anyways, he did not look cool at all and he scared me a lot. I had nightmares about it a lot, but when I stopped hearing about it I finally slept good again. Whenever I used to watch videos about him I'd have to turn my back to the tv with the light on so I couldn't have visions of it, and I had to turn the volume down so that I couldn't picture what he was doing. The game with Sonic.exe is much scarier than the actual Sonic game, and I am so glad that never happened to me. When you load up the Sonic.exe game, it would look black and red rather than cheerful blue and green. Despite how surprised I was about that, I should probably stop so I don't give you nightmares and bad vibes.
