My Sacred Place

My sacred place is actually my room. I have to admit that I really enjoy being in my room, but I do have another sacred place. I would have to say that My room is my sacred place because I can be calm and do almost anything I want in there. I really enjoy writing stories in my room, because I get inspiration whenever i go online. Sometimes I see a picture of something that really inspires me to write about something. When I am in my room, I can sleep and go away to my fantasy world until morning. My fantasy world is nothing like reality, but i enjoy visiting there whenever I am asleep in my room. When I fall asleep in my sacred place, I dream of a hall with doors. The hall is only made of ice, and the doors are like windows that allow me to see what place I want to visit. Depending on how my day goes, they can be good or not so good. In the downstairs hall of my dreams are the bad dreams, and I try to avoid walking into one of those doors when I am sleeping. The hall of bad dreams has a dark and creepy look to it, and the doors are completely dark so I  can't see what is on the other side of them. Anyways, in my sacred place i also do a lot of creative works such as drawings and song lyrics. I used to dream of becoming a singer, so i had a few songs written in my notebook. That was until I realized that it has never come true, because it was never meant to be. Sometimes I imagine my sacred place looking different than it does now, but I stay in an apartment so that's okay. I imagine my sacred place way different than how it looks. In my head I imagine my sacred places as bright, fun, and upbeat. In my imagined sacred place, there is a fireplace going while candles flicker in the room. My sacred place may change, but I will enjoy this one as long as i can.
